Stellatex in 2009 realized a photovoltaic plant of 73 Kwp in its establishment of Limidi di Soliera (MO) , based on the AESS –MODENA’s project (Agency for energy and sustainable development of Modena). The gross amount spent, about €332.000, had been financed partly with a ten year bank loan from Banca Popolare dell’Emilia Romagna and partly with an economic contribution from Regione Emilia Romagna (about €56.000) in range of POR FESR 2007-2013 (Regional Key program-European fund for regional development).

The mortgage repayments will be paid with the twenty-year money contribution from the energy account of GSE and with the savings reached through auto-consumption of the kwh supplied by the photovoltaic plant. The business-plan underlines a growing cash flow during the 25 years life of the photovoltaic plant, as guaranteed by SunPower (the solar panels-producing company) .

In addiction , from an environment-care point of view, the energy produced by this plant will permit a saving of 16 TOE/year of primary energy (TOE=tonne of oil equivalent), equal to 140 oil drums/year corresponding to about 45 tonnes of CO2/year (CO2=carbon dioxide)that won’t be spread in the air.
